The City of Boonville is completing the final phase of the Lead Service Line Inventory, beginning October 7, 2024. The City has awarded the contract to Hydrovac of Missouri, LLC to complete this phase. They will be excavating approximately 1100 service lines within the City of Boonville. The excavations are necessary to complete the required inventory of service line material composition. The lines inspected will include both public and private water lines in one’s yard. The contractor and/or the City’s engineer will be notifying affected residents by placing door hangers at the properties, indicating that work will take place in the next couple days. Once the excavation is complete, the contractor will seed and straw the excavation site. This phase of the project should be completed by August 3, 2025.
